We'd like to thank our friends and family for their patience with us. Maxine in particular was often in her "Writer's Cave" for weeks. Dave is the true "history geek" in the family and did much of the research. He is the creative force behind the work.  Many people in our personal lives have been extremely supportive and helpful and we are so very grateful.

Writing this book has been one of the greatest adventures of our lives. We have laughed 'til our tummies hurt, cried rivers, felt like royalty and taken a wild ride on this buckin' bronco of a book. We hope you have fun, too.
